Bob Nyosui Sedivy met his teacher, Barry Kyuko Weiss, under a tree in 1998 at the World Shakuhachi Festival in Boulder, Colorado, and has since learned from him the simple ways of Takashi Tokuyama. Bob received his komuso certificate from Takahashi Suiko in 2010 and lives in Carpinteria, California where he welcomes all who are interested in learning honkyoku.
