Born March 21, 1929, Ozaki Seishū (Ozaki Teruo) studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Koga Seihō (Satō Seiki lineage). He started teaching in 1965 and belonged to the Seihō-kai, Kurume branch of the Bifū-kai.
