Shigenegawa Mihagi

Born 1909 in Tokyo. Became a student of Hagioka Shōin I in 1924. In 1931, she was licensed to teach koto music. In 1935, she was given the stage name Mihagi. She was a longtime director of the Hagioka-kai, a counselor of the Japan Sankyoku Association, and a member of the Yamada School Koto Kyokai.
